New Gen Maruti Swift spy image
The upcoming new generation Swift has been spotted testing on the roads of Goa, covered with full camouflage, due to which not much is known about its design.
Looking closely at the spy image, it gets a new front bumper with new integrated LED DRLs and a new grille with fog lights and a wider air dam. Along with this, a new projector headlight setup has been given on the front along with traditional antenna and new designed bumper. The rear also includes a spoiler with high mountain stop lamp and a revised bumper with skid plate. The special thing about this spy image is that the handle on the rear doors of the new generation has now been moved from the C pillar to the door.
New Gen Maruti Swift Cabin
Not only external changes are also going to be made in its internal parts. Its cabin is going to be similar to the Maruti vehicles currently being launched in the Indian market. Its cabin is going to be largely inspired by Maruti Fronx and Maruti Baleno. On the inside, there will be a new dual tone cabin theme and new leather seats with soft touch facility at many places.

New Gen Maruti Swift Features list
Among the features, the upcoming Swift will be offered with a large 9-inch touch screen infotainment system with a digital instrument cluster and wireless Android Auto with Apple CarPlay connectivity. Other highlights include automatic AC control, dual zone climate control, wireless mobile charging, ventilated seat with height adjustable driver seat, high adjustable driver seat. With this, footwell lighting, cruise control and excellent music system are going to be available.
New Gen Maruti Swift safety features
In terms of safety features, it gets six airbags, electronic stability control, tire pressure monitoring system, hill haul assist, hill descent control, reverse parking camera with sensors and ISOFIX child seat anchors.
Apart from this, it is expected to be operated with Level 2 ADAS technology in the Indian market, which offers many excellent safety features.
New Gen Maruti Swift Engine
The current one under the bonnet is going to be powered with a 1.2 liter naturally aspirated petrol engine which generates 89 bhp and 113 Nm of torque. This engine will be offered with five speed manual and five speed MT unit. Apart from this, it can be operated with a new Z12 engine which generates 100 bhp and 150 Nm of torque. It is expected that more information will be available about this in the coming few months.

The price of the new generation Maruti Suzuki Swift is expected to start from Rs 7 lakh to Rs 11 lakh ex-showroom. Its price will be some premium over the price of the current model.
